International adoption is out of question. However, adoption within the US, I mean a US citizen child depends on the state of your residence. Some states allow adoption and some states. An attorney should be able to give a more detailed answer.

No. If you are illegal you need to go back and come into this country legally. Concern yourself with that before you try adopting a kid. Being illegal is AGAINST the law, thats committing a crime, are you with me here, understand? I have no problem in the world with people who are here legal, I welcome them with open arms. It kills me though that where I live is covered with ILLEGALS who run over everybody. I've been cussed multiple times for not learning spanish and turned down for jobs because I can't speak spanish. This ain't Mexico, we speak English here. LEARN ENGLISH AND COME HERE LEGAL OR DON'T COME AT ALL.
