My aunt lives in a poor country and she has these stomach pains. She has gone to every doctor possible.
The pain is above her bellybutton, under her chest
She has had this problem for over a year.
She says it aches more then stings.
She is very picky about her food and that sometimes affects the way she eats.
She has random constipation.
She says that the pain goes on all day and doesn't get worse when she eats or goes to the bathroom.

If anyone knows something please answer! I really feel bad for her and I don't want her to go through life like this.
Thanks

Irritable Bowel Syndrome, or IBS, is a condition characterized by:

* Excess gas
* Cramping and abdominal pain
* Painful diarrhea and/or constipation
* Bloating
* Chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, or a combination of both
* Mucus in bowel movements
* An urge to have a bowel movement without success

This condition can be quite difficult to diagnose because there are no indications presented with a standard colon examination. Rather, the doctor must rely entirely upon the medical history provided by the patient.

I hope this helps your aunt, this issue makes life so uncomfortable. I send you positive energy, take care and be well!

if it is not a constant thing, then it is related to hormons. My wife has a similar issue. It comes and goes with her cycle. Happens for a few days in between her ovulation and period. My guess is that she has a hormonal imbalance.
