Well i have a 2 year old and we are always doin fun stuff! She likes to run and play outside. She loves to go to the zoo! I take her to Chuck E Cheese a lot. I get coupons online and we go on a weekday afternoon when there arent many people there. We also go to the park and play and feed the ducks. At home we play with play dough, color, sing and dance, watch TV or movies. Kids that age think just about anything is fun if you tell them it is. I make a game out of cleaning up an she has a blast!

Kids are great!! i dont have any of my own, but i think I'm pregnant!!! but anyway the best solution to play or be with kids is first you have to let them know they have to listen to you, take the time to make them understand that you will be in charge no matter what they do. second ask them what they want to do (something that you are comfortable with) and depending on how you feel about it, let them do it. you dont really need to be right there when there playing but it is your responsibility to watch over them. if they can't figure out what to do get some toys, or even video games for them to play with keeps them entertained for hours!!! you can also get some learning toys, for ABC's 123's etc. it's always good to take some time out to have them learn how to speak and learn how to write and read too. if you still cannot find something to do play with them and have them think of a song to sing (and they will) and stand up and go in circles and move round and sing.play some music, turn on the t.v. have them watch cartoons before they to go to bed. they will love you.

Good Luck!!!

I have a two year old and a one year old. They both love to be read to, watching sesame street and barney videos, as well as coloring (supervised of course). For outings we go to the local park or Chuck E Cheese.

The zoo is a great place, also look into your local children's museum. If they're a little older, the local Science or Marine museum is a great place too.
