I am working on my abs trying to get in real good shape and im not fat but i would like my abs to show more and someone told my you have to run alot for your abs to show so i was wondering how much do i have to run to lose one pound i know one pound is 3500 calories so how many calories can you burn in one mile?

On average in 12 minutes you burn 102 calories so it depends on how long it takes you to run a mile.

You don't have to run to do ab work... running is cardio; you should do more weight-lifting stuff. To work your abs you should do a lot of crunches. To answer your actualy question, though... it depends on the runner. How hard you run, what kind of course you take, etc...

Depends on your age, current weight, and other factors. It also depends how fast you're running.
