If it isn't dried out, and other meat products have not spilled onto it, 3 days open in the fridge for a ribeye steak is fine. Go ahead and cook it up and enjoy.

sure, it might be a little off colour(brown) due to oxidization of the blood on the outside, but that is OK. If it smells funny, or is sticky(slimy), or greenish, then don't bother. But 3 days is really ok, especially if one of those days were spent in the fridge thawing. Enjoy your steak!

It's safe, I'm sure, but probably won't be as high a quality as if it had been correctly stored airtight; it could have absorbed fridge odors or dried out some. But you wont' get sick from it, no.

You didn't mention where it was left, and how long, but unless you suspect it is contaminated it should be OK.
I would sear it in a fry pan on very high heat for a minute or two each side then lower the heat for a few minutes more on each side.
