Question Details: he chewed up everything he could get a hold of he chewed up something that blocked his intestants and had to take to vet im am on disabilty and cant aford to get him out the bill ended up being 282.00 may be if some people would donate a couple dollars i could get him back i can give you the vets address so you could send striagt to them 3076 hwy14 millbrook al 36054 THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS

You also need to supervise your dog and when you can't he needs to be in his crate.
When you see him going for something he shouldn't tell him NO in a firm tone, this will stop him. Wait a second or two and then offer him one of his toys, praise him lavishly when he takes it. Also praise him lavishly if you see him chewing one of his toys on his own. He may stop chewing the toy and come over to you, and that's ok, he has still gotten the message that you like it when he chews his own toys. It'll take some time but he will learn what is and isn't appropriate to chew on, and hopefullly keep him out of the hospital.
