golf sucks?

I have seen many golfers who started off as anti-golf big mouths. After they got hooked, they play "8 days" a week!!! It is good that you bother to comment about golf as it is still in your mind.

Golf is such a beautiful game and it is a sport that you challenge against yourself. Your performance in each round is determined by the weather conditions, the ground, your skill and stamina and the company in the flight. It is also a sport that reveal your mental strength. Someone has put it "how your manage your game is how you manage your business".

Golf is a sport that can be played until very old. I know one golfer who maintained a handicap 12 at age 78.

Those who said "golf sucks" should suck their own thumbs.

There are 2 types of people that think golf sucks: 1. People that have only tried to watch it on TV. 2. People that tried it and weren't ready for the Tour after their first hole. If you don't play and appreciate the game, watching on the tube would be as exciting as watching paint dry. Even for the people that don't want to take the game as seriously as others, I find it hard to believe that they can't find enjoyment being outside in a beautiful place enjoying the company of a few friends and maybe having a beer or 3. Bets of luck and keep it in the fairway.

I love golf.
I play every chance I can.
I have spent a ton of money on the sport.

there has been many-a-round & many-a-shot that i have said the same thing.

golf is considered a sport-

most of the time, it's fat old people who want to say they 'play' a sport. so they 'play' golf-
riding around in small golf carts

but all the same
