fad diets do not work in the long run. they may help you lose weight initially, but you will generally just gain it back again.
the best thing to do is just eat healthy - all the time, and exercise. this is the only sure fire way to lose weight and keep it off. keep count of the amount of calories you eat each day, eat the recommended serves of fruit and veges every day, reduce the amount of full cream dairy, meat and carbs you eat, and severly limit (but do not remove completely) the amount of junk food you eat.
exercise at least 3 times a week, for at least 30 mins, and your on your way to a great, fit, healthy body.

An exercise diet. That and healthy foods will work better than anything. As long as you are working out and exercising to burn more fat and calories than you are taking in, you should lose weight. Here is some more information that may help too.

- Eat fruits, veggies, and protein (tofu), and try to avoid saturated and trans fats, oils, and sweets. Try not to eat a lot of carbs
- Drink skim milk instead of whole. Whenever you do eat carbs, eat something that's whole wheat. (no saltines, white rice, potatoes, pretzels, etc.) Choose a low-fat or low carb dressing. Use egg substitues or egg whites instead of a whole egg.
- Excercise. Do strengthening 3-4 times a day and try to get a little bit of cardio (running, walking, cycling) each day (30-40 minutes).

buy a scale and weight your self every day first thing in the morning and record it.
Well I lost weight by eating fresh vegatable soup for lunch...all you can eat around 10:30am
ate a regular meal at dinner...no bread, or pototoes or sweets.
Plus I would have a fresh fruit salad, mixed with cool whip once a day.
I watched my weight Monday-Friday ate what I wanted on the weekends and lost 20 lbs in 3 months

The best thing to do is to cut down on your fat, eat plenty of veggies and do plenty of exercise. Try pilates, its a great way to sculpt and tone your body.
