I have! I love durian. I'm vietnamese and we have it alot at our house when it's in season. I don't know why people think it has a bad smell. It smells regular to me. It's really sweet and best served cold.

I have eaten while staying at a tropical fruit farm near the Great Barrier Reef.

It tastes kind of like an onion, but it's got a light, taffy-like texture.

It's interesting -- and apparently very high in protein -- but there's a reason Smuckers doesn't make a jam of it and you've never seen dorian ice cream.

Yup, I did tried unknowingly, I thought it was a jackfruit first and when I put it in my mouth yack!! I can't eat it and it smelly. But in south east asia Dorian is a famous and if you like the taste and smell, which most of the south east asian do then you may like it.

It's like alot of things in life, once you get past the smell, it is really enjoyable. It is very sweet and juicy and sticky, but stinky. And it is DURIAN, native to southeast Asia, mostly Thailand and Philippines.
