My junior year was changed when a ray of sunshine in my first and seventh hours was a senior girl who is smart, ravishingly pretty, and informed on almost every issue I could throw at her(both democrats*). And she works and she is part of a divorced family. Anyway, she talked to me a number of times and when I would go around her work anytime she would smile and want to talk to me, she is going out with a senior guy, he is one of those guys who when you hear that this goddess is with him, you say WHAT!!? But none the less whenever she writes my name she puts little hearts over the I's, and she once referred to me as her favorite person, I look at her sometimes in class, and I notice her gazing back in my direction, we both usually look away and do something to forget about it. I wrote her a poem once in which I used the lines "how wonderful life is while you're in the world" I didn't sign it she doesn't know it was me. I'm not a stalker I am just facinated. oh boy.

I wouldn't say she likes you in the way you would like, but she may be interested enough in you to stay friends with you.

The reason guys who are jerks end up with girls who are spectacular is because the girls have little choice in the matter. They don't decide who they want to fall in love with. Technically I could get into more details and fill up an entire page on the matter, but it all comes down to: Girls like guys who are confident and dominant. They like the 'alpha male' who calls all the shots, has all the power, and us capable of keeping them interested.

The best thing I can tell you is that you have a chance with her, if you stay friends with her and her boyfriend breaks up. Another thing I might throw in is that if you can have actual conversations with this girl and throw in enough humor to make her laugh (and possibly tease her a tiny bit) there may be a day when she has the feelings for you that she has for the jerk she's with now.

If you'd like to put it into perspective...treat her like you're her older brother. If that makes sense then good luck.

awww... can i just say ur very very cute. i would be flattered if i was her. flirt with her. play around nothing t serious! dont scare her away. as i see u really like her. it sounds like she likes you too :-D but only be playful. and it sounds like she might look at u as much younger even though its only a year(she may be more mature since the divorce) make sure she knoes u r mature and that ur serious about how u feel for her.also let her know u can and want to be there for her. im wishin u the best of luck <3 always alison :-D

wow!
Im so sorry but I think she's playing with your mind. Girls (cause i am one) tend to play with guys minds alot. Since she already has a boyfriend it would be, no offense, but rude to flirt with her in a romantic way. It is kinda stepping on the other guys toes. But if she breaks up with him then yea go for it!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!
