I also have a growth hormone imbalance caused by the sterroids I had to take for Lupus. All of the tissue between my joints is deteriorated, I can barely walk most days, I'm on anti-depressants,
all of my muscles hurt and because of my "education" they say
that I can hold down a full time job! What kind of country are we living in????!!!

Hi JJ

I feel for your pain and work situation, but I think you would agree you need to take some action toward your health. The body is giving you all the signs to fix the unbalance in your life. You have to be grateful for what you have and not focus on what you dont have in life. What you think about is what you get in life. If you focus on paying off debt you get more debt. If you focus on prosperity then you'll attract more money. likewise for health. The more you talk about your bad health you are feeding negative energy toward it.

I would like to give you a plan to help fix your health and here are some bullet points to start with.

1. Drink a gallon of water a day (must flush out the toxins)
2. Eat raw organic vegetables for 10 days
3. do a colon and liver cleanse to help remove waste and filter the blood with new cells
4. Find a stress release outlet

Click on my name and email me for more details.

Best of health to you

Hey, can't answer the question but do you have a pituitary problem? Has it been tested? Diabetes and hypothyroid together may suggest a pitutiary disorder. Growth hormone is put out by pituitary. Depression, muscle aches, joint pain ALL PITUITARY! Did you have a positive lupus test? Lupus symptoms can also be pituitary! I have all the same problems and am hypopituitary...see a good endo and get it checked out!

Wow! Someone who's close to the same boat I'm in- join the club! Try dealing with life threatening bleeding Colitis, Diabetes, Bronchitis, and Arthrihtis! Furthermore, say you have piles of evidence of some loser who's invading your privacy who does drugs and all kinds of people make up lies right to your face while you have actual pictures to shove right in their faces to prove it but no-one does anything to help you!! What kind of a country is this- a third word banana republic that violates human rights and freedoms- a country that allows torture and inhumane unjust horrible acts of conspiracy and sabotage! Yes, this is absolutely outrageous! I almost wonder whether the acts that people commit in today's society are far worse than what the Nazis did to the Jews in WWII!!! It is absolutely shocking and unbelievable!

I have cervical disc disease and only 1 leg . they were told by 4 doctors so far that i was only going to get worse and would eventualy get to the point where it would affect my arms and my leg (which it is), also one of these doctors was one they sent me to, years later I get a letter that says after my last exam they beleive I'm going to get better so I have to be re-checked in 3 years. The kicker is my treatment consists of heavy doses of narcotics (Duragesic, Oxycontin, & Valium). It's possible I could get back to the point where I could work if I had an artifical leg and had back and neck surgery but try to get that done with Medicare and see how far you get.
What kind of country are we living in? One that's been the same since it's conception and I'm to the point where I could care less who attacks or overthrows the U.S. government because they can't possibly be any worse. All this country cares about is going to war and killing everyone who does'nt meet up to their standards and it's always been like that. I'm just glad to see that karma thing is finaly starting to be enforced by the powers that be.

My friend is on a disability pension due to major food, chemical & drug allergies, as well as having chronic Asthma,
Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She had simular problems with getting a social security payment. But she did the following.

Appeal the decision.

And then get as much information as possible about your conditions, and how they each impact on your day to day living. Take as many medical reports as possible, from each of your specialists.

Also if you have someone who lives with you, then have them attend a social security appointment, with you so they can back your claim.

Be very frank as to how your unable to do things for yourself, and how some days are so much worse, even make a list, such as unable to sweep or mop floors, hang washing out etc.

Another option is to see an Occupational therapist or Physio therapist to do a report on your ability or lack of ability to work.

Good luck

Unfortunately, its pretty common to deny a claim on the first go around. Its not fair, but its life.
Hang in there, apply again and look into getting a pro bono lawyer who can help you. Many of the national support groups for your illnesses will have names for you.

Are you talking about Social Security? If that's who turned you down, apply again! I know there are people in wheelchairs that were turned down...TWICE!! It's pretty standard to get turned down on the first and second try, Don't give up!!

Unfortunately, you are right. The person behind the desk has no idea what it is like to walk in someone else's shoes.

Good luck to you.
