I was. Twice...
I was 'happy' being single after one relationship I had, but then I succumbed to loneliness and got in a quick relationship thinking it would fix things...Ugh. Don't do anything like that if you suddenly decide you're not happy. The result is that I ended up with a girl who disgusted me...she was fairly slutty and really didn't know how to have a relationship.
Regardless I'm a lone again. I was happy, now I'm disappointed because all the girls around me aren't meeting up to my standards and that means I need to go back to work finding new girls to woo.

at the moment im not single but i know when i was i enjoyed my freedom for a while and i had fun, but i got a little bored of it and i felt alone especially when i went out with friends because they all had someone. I guess it depends on your situation when im single i make the most of it but i do get bored of it. Im a lot happier in my relationship though but every one is different

I am so very happy that I'm not married. I not only listen to all people who talk about their experiences with marriage, but I observe couples with a keen eye for detail.
In my life I have been faced with the choice of getting married 4 times. In each case, I chose not to. And after I chose not to, each successive denial proved to be more beneficial to my sanity than the one preceding it.
