I don't feel any one emotion about them as a whole. As with people who aren't fat, you can't generalize. It depends on the situation I see them in. If they are obviousl over 300 lbs and packing away a whole bucket of KFC and then claiming to have a thyroid problem (my aunt) I tend to think lots of things about them. Other than that, I think that they are just like everyone else, they just don't care as much about fitness.

I don't usually spend time thinking about it. You could say that I am fat. Is there a reason behind it? Yes. I don't like it at all for myself. I have had 6 children ..all grown now.I started at 15 and I was not yet a full grown adult and my bones had not matured into one.Result...in a matter of years I had a condition called Genuvalgus...my lower legs bow out some from the knee down. That caused me left knee to go bad...it would give out and sounded like a gunshot going off...the pain pretty bad...tore the ligament in the knee cap. That was in my 20's Had two authropic surguries. Then degeneritive arthritis set in and the exercise you use to get is cut in half.A spill off a horse caused me to start having back problems. I was a strong person. Then I came down with something...I had no name for it..you would start aching in different places..usually it was in my legs clear up to the hip. Like a very bad case of the flu. It would change places to shoulders or arms. ..you got very little sleep.Asparin did nothing. Some days you would ache all over. Add that to the genuvalgis and arthritis and the back problems from the horse accident. Doctors give you pain meds an muscle relaxants....you are gaining weight..why?I learned that any medication you take..if it says that it will make you tired or sleepy, that slows down your whole metabolism which means you don't have to be over eating to gain weight. You have a choice ..to continue in all that pain ,day after day ,with nothing to stop it, or take meds that will at least make your days bareable. Years later I find out I had Fibromyalgia. My whole leg eventually had to be operated on. I certainly did not want to have these problems and would wish them on no one. Now another problem arises... to add to the problem. Your feet feel dead numb on the bottom ,yet they burn and hurt..and the pins and needles prickling all over them started. Docto said he didn't know what was causing it so did not give me any thing for it. After 5 months of this, day and night...I put the question to Yahoo answers. It was Periferial Neuropathy, comming from pinched nerves in my lower back. Also this person told me of a new medication that would help...she was certain because she worked for the labratory that developed it. My Doctor perscribed it for me. It worked ...at last some relief. Side effect..swelling , warwe retention and worst of all ..weight gain.... What would you do if cercumstances were reverced, and all these problems were your instead of mine?? How would you deal with it?? Can you foretell the future and something like this would happen to you.How would you look people to look at you. As fat..overweight..just never able to push your self away from the table?? Are you perfect in all ways that you have the right to judge others???? There are many health problems out there that may cause people to be the way they are..so never judge untill you walk a mile in there shoes.

I think some fat people bring it upon themselves, but in my case I am not very skinny, I weigh 155 and I am 5'7" and if you checked back before recently, that would be healthy, but the media has made it seem that you have to be rail thin to be healthy.

& that quite possibly the most ignorant question I have ever heard.

well I don't think they are very attractive, I mean who does right. But fat, wait no obese people aren't exactly taking very good care of themselves but this country has a lot of fattening foods to offer, who wouldn't get fat. It is their choice to eat the food, but still why would people make and sell such garbage.

They are the same as anyone else, they are people and should be respected as such, no two people are the same, I would never judge a person by their looks but by the contents of their character.

I think you shouldn't be mean to people on the heavy side. They are still people and they don't like to be called fat. My sister, for one is "fat" because she can't exercise, because she lost a leg in a car accident. It isn't always their fault they're fat. It always makes me angry when people call her fat.
So don't be mean.

I don't judge. You don't know anything about them. They could be really nice, smart, funny, a great friend and some jerk could just ruin all of that all because of their size. That's just not right. Not one person should be treated like that. It's not fair.

No such thing as fat people in my books. However, people who possess a larger frame, I find have a great sense of humour and theres more of them to love!! I have a lot of love to give!!!
