Can you bake bananas with the cake mix?

you betcha. and you don't even have to smash them up if you don't want to. chunks are great too... just make sure there aren't too many chunks so that the leavening in the batter can do it's job. i'd guess no more than three small bananas chopped up into each cake mix would be around the limit.

I used to cut up bananas and put it in the chocolate cake mix before baking.
