OK, I was at a Sweet 16 last night. This question is about this girl that was there. This is not her name, but just for the purpose of the question, let's call her Jessica. This girl goes to school with me, but I thought we didn't know each other. I only talked to her once, and that was about 5 months ago when I had to b/c it was for an assignment in religion class. So I get to the party, and when I see Jessica, who I barely knew, she yells out my name and says hi. Then she says she wants to dance with me later. I was surprised she knew me and wanted to dance. Later, she chased me down (literally), grabbed my hand, and led me to the dance floor. We grinded for 2 songs, and she really got into it, grinding her a*s hard against me, holding my hands, and I was holding her hips. When we finished she gave me a hug. On my way out, I saw her again, and she gave me one of those quick kisses on the cheek and a hug. So, does this girl like me, or am I just blowing this way proportion?

I'm not dense, I just think its odd that a girl I have never talked to would act like we were best friends, you know. I don't know how girls think. I hope she likes me, but I can't help thinking that it was just a one night thing. I don't know. Unfortunately, I won't know until next Monday; I'm off from school this week and I don't have her number, since we barely knew each other.
And on a sidenote, I could be wrong, but I don't think she was drunk at all.

from a girl's point of view... she really does think that you were friends... when we like someone we'd rather not show it until we were sure they like us back, you know kind of self preservation thing... BUT!!! there are some girls who will flirt her way to your heart.. since I really don't know this girl I'm not sure what she's thinking. for now just be civil and act like that night was just her way of being friendly... it might hurt if you keep your hopes up and got dumped at the end.

That's pretty much what me and my dance partner do together, but she has her own boyfriend.
Quick kisses on the cheek and a hug is just a way of people saying "Goodbye". Well at least she doesn't dislike you.
About the grinding her a*s against you, it depends on what dance you guys are doing. If it was like a club latin, that's the way people dance. No big deal.
Doesn't matter if the girl likes you or not, but do you like her? If you like her, the heck with it, just ask her out.

ok, well she probably most definetly likes you because I mean girls just don't run up to some random guy who we don't really kno that muchand want to ground ith him, odds are she thinks you're really hot and likes you, but i guess you'll have a surprise on Monday! Good Luck
