I have a bottle of pineapple sweet teriyaki sauce in the refrigerator, and I think it has been in there for at least 6 months. There isn't an expiration date on it, and it looks okay. Can I still use it?

Yes, it is not bad but not as good as it once was. It is safe to use but you mite pick up a new one if you want the most flavor from your product. Chef John

Teriyaki sauce is soy sauce with brown sugar added. It will work just as well if not better

Most of those things have so much salt and/or sugar in them, it retards bacterial growth to near zero. I asked a chef, and he said that you could leave soy sauce out for 10 years and it wouldn't go bad. Some things are just filled with stuff that bacterial can't grow on.
