I wouldn't get back together with a guy who left me for someone else. I would have to maintain my dignity and self respect. I'd never be someone's second choice or backup girl.

Why did he leave you in the first place? Most likely, if he left you once, then he will probably leave you again. What happened between him and the other girl? Did he break up with her because he still loved you, or did he just get back together with you because she ended the relationship with him? It really all depends on the circumstances. You didn't give very many details.
I, personally, don't think I would get back together with somebody who left me for somebody else. I know that is not something I could get over. It would make me feel like I was the second choice and that isn't good for a person's self esteem. Remember, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

This has happened to me with my boyfriend before, and unforunately it's something that can't be forgotten, but can be forgiven. You'll always be upset and there's nothing he can do to to make you feel 100% again. There will probably always be the fear that perhaps he'll do it again, because chances are he will. But also, I don't know how long you have been together, but sometimes it's just what one person needs to truely know that the person they've been dating is really the one they want and there aren't any other options for them. I hope the latter is true for you and I wish you the best of luck with your boyfriend, and whatever you choose is the best for you!

You could:
A) get revenge by going after other guys while you'r ein the relationship [I wouldn't recommend it but it's an option]
B) Break up with him
or C) Forgive him for leaving you. [Highly Recommended]
If he ends up doing it again then don't bother with him, because at that point he's not worth it. But if this is just his first time then try to be a little lenient

Someone leaves me for someone else... can keep looking elsewhere.
I have better self respect then to be treated as leftover or second choice rahter then "take him back".
Not today, nor tomorrow - not ever!
Cheat on me - you're dust.
Leave me for someone else, and it's time to empty the trash.

Oh please don't do that... If he left you for someone else you have to accept that and respect his decision. Don't hurt your pride because of one boy... You'll meet a lot more guys out there who are worth your affection
