I would suggest reading Dave Peltzer's books...the first one is "A Child Called It" You can see how someone can survive horrible abuse and turn out to be a good person.

If this is happening to you or someone you know, talk to a teacher, guidance counselor, principal, school nurse, minister, ANYONE who will take action! Try to see if you or your friend could live with a relative or in a foster home. I am a teacher and I see how students who have had terrible lives can turn it around and live their lives as
good people who make the world a better place to be.
My husband was raised by alcoholics...he is one of the best father's I have ever seen. He managed to escape and doesn't deal with them any more.

I think God will punish them, but I think you need to not wait that long & let the law take care of them in the meantime!

Get help for you or whoever it is.
Don't wait.

Good luck & take care

omg! It all depends on child's age, behaviour issues, family issues. Being a parent and going through what you have, it is easy to say this. But I have found out much later that most parents want the best for their child. Sometimes they interfere too much but their intentions are wholly sincere. Sometimes parents are wrong as they are not perfect, like you, me and everyone else. My parents had many wise words to say and I am glad I listened because if I did not, it would be difficult to turn the clock back and start again. Sure, there are bad parents . You have to look at the bigger picture. Are they really that evil? Are they your enemies? Do you know people worse than them? Are you talking about arranged marriage? Would they select a number of suitors? If you did not like any, would they pressurise you into choosing one? I believe in love and that you should have 'real' love, and not an infatuation like many teenagers do, for the person.

Are their hotter regions of Hell? Perhaps. The child will one day grow up and then eventually die. Then the child will stand before God. This child will not be able to use their parents treatment as an excuse for themselves not getting born again. You know what I mean? We all must come to Christ no matter what our lot is in life. And in ten thousand years maybe the mistreatments of this worlds monsters will have vanished from our memories. (a note to the gal above: It's Heaven or Hell.)

At the age of around thirteen a human reaches the age of reconing. This is when it changes from the parents responsibility to the persons. It is not always exactally thirteen, but it is when a person starts to realize that they are a self. When this happens it is time for the person to realize that they cannot hang on to the past to determine the future. You also realize that you are responsible for your future. "You sew what you reap." Many adults are still hanging on to the excuse that so and so did this or that to them. In God or Truth, ALL things become New. When you realize this truth and opt for truth then it is a matter of moving forward with your life as God's co-pilot.

According to the bible....if an adult offends one of the little ones who believe it would be better if they had a mill stone around their neck, and drowned in the sea.
A life time abuser will not get off scot free even if never caught in their life time.
Their is a God who will not just promote revenge, but something better.....justice.

The children turn out messed up and go on to wreck other lives.

Nothing happens to the parents - you need to get a license to go fishing but any stupid ignorant evil trash can have as many kids as they can physically manage.

the bible says that parents will account for the ways that their children are brought up. the parents are gifted with the responsibility of raising God's children as their own children and they must ensure that the children are taken care of properly and grow in Christ or they'll hav to face the consequences of judgement.

They'll turn out fine. They will become smarter and possibly nicer to they're own children. Or they will become serial killers. Either way, they will be an evil genius or a saint.

Based on the God Principle, I'd say Purgatory first, (which is basically getting sent to your room to think about what you've done), and then, heaven!
