you have a BF
you have a female friend
you have a friend that wants your BF
you seem to feel like a 3rd wheel.
speak w/ your friend that she needs to back off
second, express your feelings on this to your BF, he needs to know that..sometimes it may take the both of you to give your friend that kick in the butt...in the event she is just not getting it.
third, never feel that you are the thrid wheel, thats just downgrading yourself, worse since you are doing it to your flirty no-BF friend that should go hunting for her own BF.

There's potentially any number of reasons why he's behaving like this, but the most likely ones have already been mentioned in other replies. The point is, irrespective of why he's doing this, she is being used and the situation is unlikely to get any better. She's indulging in wishful thinking with all this 'sweetie' talk and he recognises that and, through a combination of pushing her away and calling her back again, is keeping her hanging there, just at the distance he wants her to be; probably for a potential fall-back lay. She needs to 'spit the hook' !

Risk asking him if he likes her and if he says just as a friend tell him that you're getting sad because it seems he cares about her more than you. If he's doing it by accident then he'll correct himself.
If it turns out he actually likes her and not you, let him have her and break up with him.
Or you could always just stop hanging out with the both of them at the same time. EIther hang out with just him or hang out with just her.

I had a friend who loved to steal my boyfriends away...I know she's a friend, but you don't deserve to have friends like that, she will continue to do this. And as for your boyfriend, if he's showing more attention to her than to you then you should get rid of him as well...I know it's hard and painful to do, but you will be happier in the future with someone that gives you their undivided attention. Like I said before, I had alot of problems with my boyfriends and my friends, but once I found the guy with now, i've never felt like i needed to worry. Good luck!

stop hanging out with them at the same time. Make some her time and some him time. And tell her that would like to spend time with him by yourself. If she has a problem with it- then leave her alone. If ur friend has a crush on your boyfrined- dump her!!!

She probably shouldn't be your friend anymore. Also, your bf should ignore her and keep his attention on you. Be sure to
let her know that you don't like what she's doing.

Tell your friend to knock it off, that's really selfish and above all, extremely immature of her to do such a thing. If she was one of your real friends, she wouldn't be doing this.

Ask your bf if he is into her? Then you would feel better if he's not. But if he is, tell him to pick which one he likes.

when you hang out with your friend, go out to eat and get her to eat really fattening foods. eventually she'll get fat and your boyfriend will be disgusted to look at her!
