Pain can come from many different causes and sometimes more than one. Vitamin deficiency is a possible causal factor (B6).
You need to see a Dr. first. There are free clinics and hospitals. Don't gamble with your health, you are still young.
If the Dr can't find anything it may be from overuse or misuse. Muscles in the forearm can cause referral pains or pinched nerves.
Small muscles in the hands by the thumbs can cause the pain you speak of and push ups put you in a position to potentially strain these muscles.
Using a mouse or the keyboard certain ways can hurt it. Deviation of the wrists can cause pains and damage in the spot you mentioned.
You could have damaged the ligaments or tendons or have a broken bone.
It doesn't sound like carpal tunnel syndrome, that usually sends pains into the hands and fingers and comes with tingling, numbness, etc. The pain usually doesn't come to the wrist at the base of the thumb with CTS but nothing's impossible.
To help prevent CTS, do not perform finger movements while your wrists are either flexed or extended. These two actions greatly increase the pressure in the carpal tunnel and cause friction to the tendons of the fingers which are controlled by muscles in the forearm. The friction causes inflammation which causes scar tissue. Over time the repeated microscopic amounts of scar tissue build up and eventually cram the already cramped tunnel with so much tissue that it compresses the median nerve as it passes through the tunnel. The tunnel is distal to the area you mentioned, though slightly, and nerve pain only travels distally not proximally, meaning if a nerve is pinched at the elbow, pain can be felt in the hand (distal to the elbow) but not the shoulder (proximal to the elbow).
A pinched nerve or trigger point referral can come from tight muscles in the pecs, serratus anterior (the push up muscle) or many others.
Good luck.

I was first going to say, "How does arthritis sound to you?", but then I re-read your question as I began wondering about your age and noticed you said you were 19. I'm not sure arthritis can be eliminated as a factor here just because you are so young, so, that's something to think about. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome sounds possible as well, but I'd usually apply that to secretaries, but then, if you spend a lot of time on your computer, typing, well, I'm not sure age is a factor against Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, so, that's a thought. But those are only guesses, "educated guesses" maybe, but guesses nonetheless. Maybe like Reva P said, there could be a "free clinic" nearby so that someone with one helluva lot better credentials than me could do a whole lot more than just guess at it. God Bless you.

Is there any numbness and tingling in your thumb or fingers, especially when you wake up in the morning? What you have does sound somewhat like carpel tunnel. Do you remember any injury to your thumb or wrist? Another possibility (among many) would be a scaphoid (one of your wrist bones) fracture. Though fracturing both left and right bones would be rather unlikely. Regardless, I also say go visit a free clinic and get this checked out by a physician.

Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things causing pain.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it

Could be appendicitis. Could be constipation, gas, etc. Any fever, nausea, etc. Your appendix is on the right side of your body but usually people w/ appendicitis have pain on their left side instead. However, it is usually severe pain w/ nausea and sometimes even fever. Where as gas can be pretty painful and the large intestines last turn is on the left side. or a number of other things

But you can and should go to a free clinic.
You need to be diagnosed, and that means by a trained and qualified medical doctor.
