What is wrong with my girlfriend?

Since pretty much day one she has flirted with other guys online, stays in contact with her ex who still loves her... Tell me why she does this?? It's not me as she has done it with all of her other ex's. Of course I get pissed off when she puts other guys before me, she turns the tables and tries to make it like im being unreasonable? None of her relationships have lasted longer then a year.. It's like she takes sick pride in that fact.

Has anyone ever dealt with a person like this before? I do everything for her, show her love and attention, take her out to eat on a regular basis.. We live together and this constant flirting online is killing me inside.. Why does she do it?

People like to assume that cheating on someone means sleeping with another person, but in reality you can cheat on a person by simply not spending your time or energy towards the relationship. What your feeling is why thats true she is cheating on you with her time. As for why she does it that can't just be simply answered. Chances are that she isn't to comfortable getting to close too people and such actions allow here to not have to deal with such issues. She isn't one to become a partner in a relationship like you need, what it is she is after more then anything is just not to be alone. Which is hard for a lot of people so she keeps constant relationships with anyone who well have it sacrificing quality for quanity. The real problem is that people who hurt themselves this much need someone to sort of smack a little sense into them. This is going to be hard for you because your always going to fear lossing her. Unless you get more confident behind your own ways and views of the world your not going to be able to change hers. So think of it this way, you both are just as lost as the rest of us and she seems to think shes got a good way to survive in this world, so unless you can show her something better, she is never going to let go of a way of life that got her this far. This is why church use to work for getting people on the same page, but in this day and age... good luck, buddy.
