Yeah.

Randy is a master in the Octagon. If anyone knows grappling, it's Randy. Now if he can only knock that big "tree" down he's fighting on the 3rd.

My 2 cents says he will.

Many say that Sylvia is a "striker" much like Chuck Liddell. He may be a striker. He may be a BIG striker. But he's definitely not as FAST as a Chuck Liddell, which could play to Randy's advantage.

Go get him Randy!

If that's what he really wants. He is one of the best, so he's got nothing left to prove. If he feels the pull of the octagon then he should go for it. And as for all the ridiculous comments about how Tim Silvia is so great.... you're insane. He is so lucky to be where he's at. He's lazy in the octagon. When's the last time you saw him actually work at it? If it weren't for his size, he'd have nothing, cause his skills definately aren't all that. So I think you may be surprised when they fight. I believe ol Randy will definately give that gorilla a run for his money.

He signed a five fight contract with the UFC. So he's back. This, however, was not a good decision on his part. I think he did it for the money. He won't beat Chuck, he won't beat Sylvia or CroCop or Vera, so who will he win against? I think it's good for the UFC, as Couture will draw a lot of fans to his fights, but not for Couture. We will know during his first fight back if he has what it takes to still compete. He will lose to Sylvia, but if he makes it a good fight, there are prospects for the future. I just hope he doesn't get irrepairable damage done to him.

Yes and no. Yes for the fans, no for himself. Tim Sylvia is going to pick him apart, just like he did Jeff Monson. I mean, come on, the man is 6'8" 255. When you're that tall, you can toy with someone who you have a 10" reach advantage over like you're a Senior fighting a freshman. Look at Andrei Arlovski, the one fight he did win against Sylvia, he had to practically superman punch on every throw. Couture is not as tall as Arlovski, either. I don't see Couture's chances as very good at all. However, on the same token, I am a huge dis-liker of Tim Sylvia. I can't stand the man's fighting style, he's so boring to watch. The only reason he wins the majority of of his fights is because of his forementioned height and subsequent reach advantages. I was thrilled when Arlovski scored his heel hook on him, and when Mir broke his arm. I would LOVE to see Sylvia lose, to anyone. Most preferably: to Fedor Emelianenko. Fedor would CRUSH Sylvia!

Sure. I think he was right. Before UFC signed Heath Herring and Cro Cop, the heavyweight division was weak. Andrei already fought and lost twice to Tim so there wasn't much out there.

Yes, I would love to see him come back. Perhaps, a rematch with Chuck "the Iceman" Lidell would be a great fight to see again. He is still in shape, and hungry for another title fight. A come back will not be disappoint by a UFC fight fan like myself.

he should competein the grappling world(abu dhabi etc..) but not mma i just dont want to see silvia beet him not saying he will but cro cop for sure would as he is like a chuck lidellstyle fighter but bigger and stronger and of course chuck beat randy.when he retired he left only slightly tarnished but still massively respected. i point to michael jordan who retired after a winning shot then came back old and left again not so peak like. then theres shamrock pfff. but then it looks like quit a few are coming back due to the popularity rise in mma such as frank shamrock, basa rutten etc...
