I don't know about the other ones, but since I am a teenager I can tell you the causes for stress on us. (I'm almost 14) Teens and parents are the age groups with the most stress....

Teens: grades, family problems, peer pressure, self criticism, peer criticism, bullies, bf's/gf's, friend problems, lots of others...

Parents: worry for children, work, bills, supporting a family, being a good parent, many others that I don't know because I'm not a parent yet.

I would say all of them have the same amount of stress and such, because they all go through different major stages of life as we know it, and there are all different changes in many different ways. I think teens and their parents sometimes get the most stress, because yeah, the teens are growing up, drama, changes, immature to mature, and again, more changes. And what's worse, is that the parents sometimes dont' understand, and aren't doing anything right for the teens, which is very stressful. The elderly, however, have stress about health. health is an important issue of course, and ifyou have cancer or some other disease like alzheimer's, you can say that is very stressful. And for infants, we dont' kno what goes through their minds, but they change, physically and emotionally at a very rapid speed, and we can't do much to help them either. For example there is no communication, which is hard for the infant. They also go throgh very fast physical changes which is why they cry a lot and all the time. I'd say children/todders get the least amount of stress, because most of their worries consist of being caugt eating candy, or not eating their food. Though most children go through the same childhood, some might have unfortunate fates and their parents might be alcoholics, drug abusers, homeless, or abusive. but in so many ways these things could affect all ages....So that comes to the fact that mostly everyone of every different age goes through their own stress, but only dealt at different time periods.

If I had to list all the possible causes of stress for all those groups - that would be stressful!
Anyway - I think that a lot of parents (middle-agers) have the most pressure on them these days. They are stuck in the middle - sometimes still raising their children or teenagers, sometimes helping their children through college or start careers, sometimes helping to raise their grandchildren already - while their parents are getting older and may need extra attention and help financially, medically, etc. All of this perhaps before retirement, while still working and paying bills - that can be a lot of stress.

infants - Stressed with their needs being met children - stressed with trying to get approval from parents & being punished Teenages - stress of school and peer pressure Young adults- stressed about deciding what to do for the rest of their lives, their future Parents - stressed about job, kids, bills, providing for family elderly- stressed about getting older and medical issues I think parents have the most pressure because they have alot more to deal with. They not only deal with the stresses of the other groups (kids & elderly parents) but they also have to take care of it. Which sometimes means putting their personal stresses on the back burner which is not the healthiest.

some stress factors are a major move recently, school change, puberty, being the only child, being the oldest child, being the youngest child and your siblings don't wanna play with u/don't understand you.

in my opinion the group that faces most pressure is teenagers because they're in a major transition in life. the like boys/girls and their bodies are changing and their parents think they're aliens because they don't wanna hang out or talk to them. they feel all alone.

well teens because they are going from everything being easy in elementary school to much harder things in middle and high. it is hard to go from each and it makes stress trying to keep up with school. also the stress from trying to please your parents in everything
