Yes... that's good. you have to GRADUALLY do it... people screw their hair up something AWFUL when the just go from black to clonde or blonde to black.. it makes it look horrible. I would go from a dark brown to a lighterbrown. Then from light brown to the blonde she likes. Professional treatments are pretty good... not only do they make it not feel fried... it doesn't LOOK fried. I'm not so sure how long the black to blonde thing will take... sorry but I'm not gonna say when I'm not sure. By the way i think the brown lowlights will look so cute! good luck! =] *****Oh and I'm pretty sure you should wait 3 weeks before you dye your hair again. (I just looked it up) good luck.

I wish her luck! I am a cosmetologist, and I colored my hair black, it does not lift well( or evenly) with bleach. DEFINITELY GO PRO! Do not use the sun in at home, or the peroxide! The stylist will most likely either put in several foils at a time....over many visits or soap/bleach cap it to get the black out as much as possible and then color to a nice dark blond.......is it possible to be done by April? Yes...will her hair be in crappy condition? YES.

that is plausible. besides the undeniable fact that it basically takes a at the same time as to take action, dissimilar empty boxed-product dyes from Walgreen's scattered on your bathing room floor, and the opportunity of it popping out orange! Doing it like that ought to ruin your hair more beneficial & could have an over all effect, than bleaching can! i'd keep on with salon bleaching. (:

you can either have her get foil highlights done until she reaches her desired level of color, or do bleach rinses. the salon should know about both of these.

You are correct about gradually dyeing it lighter each time. You shouldn't dye your hair more than once a month.

Just go in and get it dyed back....because other wise her roots will look bad when the blonde starts coming in.
