Hey wuts up,
Well i'll tell you everything i know about kickfliping, This is one of those tricks you can practice standing still or on your carpet or grass or even if you want..moveing.
Now put your back foot like a regular ollie. next set up your front foot like your going to ollie but tweek it up abit, try not to put your foot too far on the edge of the board, some people say it helps the pop and flip. But sometimes it screws up your balance and will mess up your flick. so just put your foot around the edge of the board.
now that uve got that, your going to want to pop the tail just like a ollie and take that back foot up and tuck it into your chest while doing that flick off the side off the board where it starts to curve(if your regular..flick off to the left curve and if your goofy flick off to the right curve)
While the boards fliping remember to keep your feet well out of the way, dont let the board over flip so remember the first time you see the griptape comeing around put your feet back on the board,
A good way to learn this trick is to visulise yourself landing this trick, it helps your confidence and your knowledge on how to do it. Just remember this is a hard trick and takes time to master, If this didnt help, watch other people do it or go on youtube.com and check it out.
Good luck learning this trick and have fun with it

I think almost everyone had this same problem.
what you need to do is:
A: Set your front foot closer to the edge of the board so you can get more leverage. (however this may cause you to have less control and it may be harder to land it.)
B: Your not flicking your foot, your just pushing it downward. When you kickflip, your foot should drag at an angle, this way, when your foot leaves the board, it will flick out and give the flip more momentum.
GOOD LUCK!

kick it harder when you ollie and make sure to slide your foot all the way up to the nose right where it starts to raise up into the "nose area" slide your foot straight off and kick hard your board will automaticly flip, go to youtube and do a search for kickflip, and watch and study, put 2 and 2 together and you'll be kick flipping down 10 stairs in no time!

well, im 15 been skateing a year and a half now and landed my first k-flip 6 months ago. you might have the same problem i did, only one foot lands on the board.
the problem is that you are scared to land (even if you think your not)
just try and land with the opposite foot over and over. that helped me a ton.
hope this works for you.
