yes i would...i have already, but not in a romantic sense...just as a friend...another user and myself have organised a Y!A party night out in central london..i met him last week to go and see the venue etc...he was a perfectly normal and we had a great time ...everyone going to the party will also be meeting each other too...for more details on the party please look out for my questions and if you star the Y!A party questions you will be sent details of the event...its March 31st in central London.

in a romantic sense i would...if your connection is good and you are comfortable enough then go for it...it sounds to me as if youre not so id wait a while until you feel a little easier with it...if you have ask then you are not sure...

if all else fails why dont you both come to the party...then you can meet in a big group...and see where it goes...;0)

Hi. I think its fine as it gives people that would usually be shy a chance to break the ice and talk to other people. I have met a very special girl via Yahoo chat. It was totally unexpected as I was just using yahoo chat to pass the day whilst at work. We truley believe we are soul mates and hope to have a future together.

OK, i think you should be very careful as you have only been talking to this guy for weeks! If you do meet how about taking one of your close mates with you just to be safe and in case he turns out to be completely different to what he said he was! You can just laugh it off with your mate. I've also been talking to this guy on net but we been speaking for almost a year and we plan on meeting soon but when i do go meet this guy and sure taking my mate with me!

I met my husband on the internet. So I'd say . . . meet the guy, just make sure you pick a safe time and place in case he turns out to be a nut job.

Be VERY careful. Be aware of the risks you are taking. You really dont know someone until you for real meet them, so hopefully he'll be a nice guy in person!

I dont really know....id say use your best judgement....also be careful . Have a friend come with you and make sure hes not a creep then she can leave. Also go somewhere that usually has alot of people around. Goodluck and be smart

Definitely meet him. Whats the harm in making a new friend? Age is no barrier in friendship

I've met a few folks I've met online... however, I met them at a public place with high traffic, and met for coffee (not a meal) so if I didn't think it was going well I didn't have to wait for the meal to arrive and be eaten.
