My experiance has been that the check has come within a day or two of the mailing. A couple of years ago when we sent in a paper return and did not have our refund direct deposited, we got our check the day after they said that they were mailing it----
My son's is suppose to be mailed next Friday according to the website, so I'm sure he'll get it Saturday, but no later than Monday. But, our filing center is in Austin, TX and we live in TX so maybe that is why it is so quick. Since Monday was a holiday, I would think you would get it Tuesday and no later than Wed. Even when we lived in CA, our checks came pretty quick.

I'm confused. The IRS never says they are going to mail a check.
If you filed electronically and received notice that your filing had been accepted on the16th, then it usually takes about 9 days after that for your return to be processed. So that would mean they would mail your refund check around the 25th unless there is an error on your return. It would take about four days in the mail, so... your check would be delivered around the 2nd or 4th of March.

If your check was mailed out on friday you will probably receive it the following friday. The post office says they do not hold the checks but they always seem to come on a friday.

9-14 days, depending on federal holidays, could be sooner. If you don't have it by the end of 3-4 weeks, call them.
