Will taking a bath (10-15mins) after you eat a meal do any (real) kind of damage to you? You know like you’re not supposed to eat and go swimming right after. I know if you eat too much and go swimming right after, you risk throwing up or cramps.
Will anything really happen?

I've taken baths right after eating and I have never noticed any problems. I think the reasoning behind not swimming after eating is because of the motion involved and the possibility of it disrupting your digestion system. You should be fine since bathing is, for the most part, solitary.

Yes there are side effects. You will notice the drain plugged with the noodles of spaghetti you just ate which will in turn make you start throwing up all over yourself, then you will have to go take another bath. So its a complete waste to bathe right after you have a meal.

After taking a bath you'll feel clean and comfortable. And the fulness of the meal usually gets you drowsy. Combined you will really want to crawl into bed. The Japanese bathe once a day at night after dinner and their population have longer life-spans. So I guess there isn't a problem.

Sure, no problem. Taking a bath after you eat is ok, but you want to ask a doctor, however, I don't believe there should a problem.

I seriously doubt it.....the reason you shouldn't swim after eating is because you can get cramps....the reason you get cramps is from using a bunch of energy when you swim.....Unless you are planning on getting wild and crazy in the tub then i doubt anything will happen :)

i don't think so since you will be in the bath for a short time than you would be if you were swimming.

No. Anything you've heard is a lie. With a bath you're just lying there... you're not going to get cramps at all.

If anything, you'll be clean with a full stomach. :)

Nothing will happen, I don't think its the water that is really affecting you, it's the act of swimming and exercise.
