I went to the doctor today with swollen lymp nodes, a headache, and a lump in my throat. My doctor says I have acid reflux disease and she gave me Protonix. I know I do not have acid reflux disease I do not have any of the symptoms. I have never had heartburn and I am only 21. If anyone has any good ideas as to what this could be that would be awesome!! I have been suffering from this for a week. It has been coming and going for the last year.

I don't know about lymph nodes but i went to the doctor for stomach problems and he said I had acid reflux. (which has nothing to do with my stomach problems) I never had any symptoms of it until i started taking the medicine. Now I have to take it all the time.
