Help, I put him in his room with lots of water will he be okay?

Just don't let him smoke and he'll be fine. The stuff will just break down in his stomach.

Hey,
If your dog ate something he shouldn't have act quickly. Give your dog two table spoons of hydrogen peroxide. Most people have it at home to clean cuts. If you don't have it you can get it at a pharmacy. Give your dog two table spoons...this will make your dog throw up. This will not poison them because they are throwing it all up. The firework should be thrown up. If it isn't then you are going to want to take your dog to the vet. If the firework was fairly large this can get caught in his intestines and it's not good. If you are worried about money...don't be. Most vets will help you out and then let you work off the money. Please do not let your dog suffer. Try the hydrogen peroxide first.
The gunpowder itself shouldn't hurt your dog. What you should be worried about is it blocking his intestines.

Just don't light it if he f**ts - he could be the second dog in space.
Seriously, though, water is good, but you should take him to the vet ASAP and forget about trying to make him throw-up yourself - you may do him more harm than good.

If I were you I wouldn't take a chance. Get him to a vet as soon as possible.

Make him drink some water with a bunch of mustard in it he'll puke for sure.

OH MY GOSH!!!! THE GUN POWDER COULD KILL HIM YOU REALLY SHOULD TAKE HIM TO THE VET EVEN IF YOUR REGULAR VET ISN'T OPEN PLEASE DONT WAIT AND TAKE THE CHANCES TAKE HIM TO A EMERGENCY VET HOSPITAL!!!!!!
