well filrting doesnt always help you get a guy, hes your friend so he knows you and understands you, i know it sounds cheesy but just be yourself. if you guys are meant to be with each other then things will work out.

Touch him every now and then smile at him look at him from the corners of your eyes ask him about his day hug him and tell him things like nice shirt you look really nice ext.

You can try really obviously flirting the guy might ask you out...never tried it myself though....
