I don't have a car and I'm wondering if a girl would be offended that I can't pick her up and instead I have to meet here there. Which means she has to get there her own way. Is this a bad way for a first date? Am I okay without a car?

Actually for the first date, she may prefer to meet you there. In this day and age, one can't be too careful. Its best to meet in a public place for the first date so you can feel one another out and get to know one another a bit. I met my now husband at the restaurant for our first date (he has a car, but it was the first time we were meeting face to face so we went the safe route). I think you should be fine. If on the first date you find you are having a great time and you would like for there to be a second date, explain the car thing to her. If she is okay with it, then you may have a keeper. Good luck

it depends on your age, if your in high school I wouldn't sweat it so bad, but if your an adult, it's a bad way to start a first date. I would explain to the person anyways if I were you.

for a first date you should go with her...she shouldn't judge you by your car..so yea your okay without a car go to tthe park so you can just walk somewhere close by.

It is totally acceptable! She will be much more relaxed that she drove herself, you are totally fine...I wouldn't mention you don't have a car to her, let sleeping dogs lie for now...
