How much do girls like buff guys?

My uncle bought me a bowflex type machine. Its hard work and I am wondering if girls really really really like a buff dude. detailed answers please

I think it all depends on the guy. Some buff guys are hot, but then again there are some scrawny guys that are really hot too. I personally don't really notice if a guy is buff. Its mostly the personality that matters. I would neverrr be walking down the street and see a guy & think "wow, he's so buff". I don't think girls notice stuff like that. I would only recognize that if he was like, a body builder. It all depends on the guy. I find some buff guys hot & others are ugly. So yes and no. but don't be fatt. That is just unattractive.

I've got 17 inch arms, and a 32 inch waist and very big shoulders. Girls are initially intimated by me, but once they get to know me usually like me alot because I am a very nice guy. So a combination of buff and great personality can go along way. Don't become freakishly huge because your choices will become limited. Although many super hot chicks are into the roid freaks of the world

Okay, generally girls don't like guys who look like they spend every waking moment working out. It's vain and superficial and it doesn't look good. Girls don't want to walk around with a guy who looks like he's pumped full of steroids like a bodybuilding type. In fact, EVERY girl I know thinks that's gross.

It's all about being in proportion as well. Look at the guy from Prison Break or that hottie from Desperate Housewives. They're muscular but not ridiculous looking. And most girls agree that they're hot. You should be aiming for defined arms and abs. If you have that, the girls will be happy. Like with a swimmer.

Most girls like a bit of definition and tone, but not bulging muscles. Get me? If you work out a few times a week then you will get the type of body that girls are into.

I am sure that however you look there will be girls who are into it. I personally love guys with pot bellies. Keep working out, bc at your age you will build muscle pretty easily.

Of course ladies love man who are buff I mean me myself I workout on the gym often and a I'm buff and ladies are always by my side, and you know they like buff guys cuz they'll hug you for any reason to feel muscles and sometimes even grab your arms, that's what they do with me all the time.

Overly buff guys with huge muscles are a big turn off to most girls but we also don't want a skinny man who can't open the jar of mayo. so just tone up your muscles and you will be fine.

Personally a guy who is overly muscular to me is disgusting. Muscles are good, just not too much, you can always give it a shot and work out for awhile and see if you like the results. It's more important what you think than what others think.

I do not like huge muscular guys. I like "in shape guys"- who work out. There is something attractive about putting the work into your body. I work out, not everyday, but a few days every week. I cant even imagine it not being part of my lifestyle. I think a healthy lifestyle is so big right now. I couldn't imagine being with a guy who had no interest in bettering himself- as well as his body.

I do think girls prefer healthy looking men. Much of human behavior is very old, back to primitive times. Women are looking at men who will provide healthy offspring. But the muscle bound types seem to be a turn off for most women. Oddly homosexual men seem to be attracted to muscle beach types.
