my coughing is wierd! it changes week to week for example like last week i used to cough little ... this week i cough really hard.. and it hurts between my chest when i cough ... its a rough coughing...anyone know what is this? and how come i can stop it ... i went to doctor 3 times gave me antibiotiques it didnt do nothing... he said it was bronchitis help PLS

Did you take your antibiotics as instructed? Usually, you will need to take ALL of them and not have any left.
Your description sounds like whooping cough. You might want to discuss that with your doctor.

It might be viral bronchitis. In that case, antibiotics are not going to help, which it appears they havent. I have found that an albuterol inhaler is God;s gift to bronchitis. I get it every year, and I can;t survive without it. Also Codeine is great for cough suppression (must get it from an MD). Mucinex is also a great OTC med, but a little on the pricey side.
On another note. depending on your age, and medical history, you may want to have your heart checked out. Recently my father was diagnosed with CHF after coughing for years. Turns out it was fluid in his lungs from the CHF, not bronchitits like the docs thought! Good luck and Feel Better!!!

Wow, I was looking at your past questions and you have really had a problem with your cough.You keep saying broncitus (sorry, I know that is misspelled)I think you are a little worried.If you are telling the truth man you have had that cough along time. You have to get honest with your doctor,man. Tell him everything. You are in my prayers.
