The Book Of Wisdom (Wisdom of Solomon) was never considered "canon" in Jewish Hebrew scriptures. Jerome who wrote the Vulgate which Roman Catholics came to love long ago put it in the Vulgate because it was in the Greek Old Testament even though he was certain to point out that this was not a book of "canon" but instead it was a "church book" which means it still had it's uses. So it shouldn't be taken as the actual words of God in other words like other scripture.

if it not in the Bible it was not meant. God would have made it so if it was for the Bible. some claim there were more books i.e. mormons and others. but if you read some of them you would realize why they are not. like we have 2 corithians. there was 3 so what happend to the 3rd one. well the 1st corithians book made was just for the church at the time and not for us all. there were some that were about battles but not relavent. anyways. to be saved and to know God all you need is the Bible. if there is anything out there that says other wise then that is wrong. i.e book of mormon. nothing against them at all. they too can be saved with truth. however they claim there book is the word of God and the Bible is only the word of God as long as it is translated correctly. there book contradicts the Bible and when asked about it all they say is it is mistranslated. however it was just proven the Bible is 100 percent acurate. well 98 percent acurate with words and the 2 percent comes from comas that we now have that were not there before. the 100 percent comes from if you read the Bible now compared to then you still get the same meaning.

It depends (the ones that I have seen) on whether it is a Catholic or Protestant Bible. Catholics have it, Protestants do not.
To me the 'deciding factor was the Dead Sea Scrolls.
May you receive there a large pleasant surprise today to God's glorry!!!

It is only one of hundreds of Scrolls not found in The Bible of today.

It told NOTHING of Jesus - his coming, his life, his death, Resurrection, or our Salvation.

The BIBLE its self is THE BOOK OF WISDOM!
