I met this guy the other night and I struck up a conversation with him to get his attention. He later asked for my number and ended up ditching his friends and hung out with me the entire night which was for a few hours at a bar. To me, we hit it off and there was chemistry. If he stuck by me the entire night and talked to me the whole time... that has to mean something right? It's been 2 days since we met... what's the rule of thumb in the amount of time it takes a guy to call a girl? Does it seem like the chances are pretty high that he would call?

Theres this thing called the '3-Day Rule' that some people follow. But aside from that the time it takes him to call really just depends...I would say the chances of him calling are really high though...Good luck and dont sweat it :) !

Yes, the chances are he will call. of course, when he calls doesn't matter. i think he is into you, if he spends time to talk to you aside from his friends. I don't believe their is a set time of when to call someone. The man may be shy or he may be busy. That doesn't mean a month later he calls you he's still into you or anything. It just means, give him some time untill you've waited long enough.

Maybe something came up and he hasnt had a chance. or maybe hes waiting until midweek so he can get together with you on the weekend. Give it a little more time, im sure he'll come through for ya

he may call. Not all guys follow the same rules. Just in case he doesn't remember it has nothing to do with you.

He'll call you within 7 days or so if he likes you. If he doesn't he might have found a better prospect.
