well...i recently went to a convention held for high school photography students and met some pretty awesome guys on the trip. I was just wondering what a guy means if all you asked for was for his facebook and myspace addresses but he gave me his number?

I think he's excited! Most guys won't risk rejection by asking for a girl's number unless they really think she's something. Unless he seemed really smooth, then he might be a player. And beware if he says he wants you to pose for him. There's a chance it's legit, but many a "photographer" have used that to get women out of their clothes.
So be somewhat excited, but hold back a little just in case.

You should be excited. That means he wanted direct contact with you and not just on Myspace or the internet.
