I started dating at 14 - but my Mom kind of had the say who I could date and who I could not. Plus it was a LOOONG time ago. Actually - she should have been more strict than she was.
My child is 12 - but in 7th grade. The kids talk about how they are "going out" - but they don't really GO anywhere. It just means they like each other - and they are a couple. It's pretty harmless. I won't be letting a boy pick her up and take her away in his car for quite some time.
There are lots of opportunities for her to see her friends - and any of the boys she considers her "boyfriend" in a group. There's no need for them to be off alone in a car somewhere. But off with a group - or at a roller rink - or dropped at the movies - or at a party - I'm okay with that for now. Maybe when she's in 10th grade or so - depending on who the boy is - and if he's respectful or not.
Are the boys you like respectful to your parents? Have you invited them to your home and have they talked with your parents and tried to get to know them? That might help. It would certainly help in my house.

Yeah 15 is a normal age to date. Don't worry man you're still young. I am 23 and haven't been on a date in two years. My advice is don't ever let love pass you by like it has passed me by. I am too old to find love.

i don't think there is a set "normal age." it jsut depends on your family and your maturity level. 15 is fine, but the problem with that is where are you gonna go? are your parents or her parents gonna take you? i mean 16 just seems like a lot more simpler age, but then again there is no "normal age" or whatever.
