Yep. I love the smiles, hate the tears. I could just hug them all day!!!!

The worst is if a friend is being mean, or hurtful. You want to step in and protect them, however you know it's not the right thing to do.

Yes and yes. Being a good parent to me is sympathizing and feeling for your child. Unless it is that they don't get their way...in that case, don't feel sad for them, which in turn will make them happy in the future.

Yes I do. I cant help it. If they are sad sometimes it makes me cry cause they should be happy.
That doesnt include tantrums or not getting their own way. Only when they are genuinely sad.

I feel sad when they are sad. I worry if they are ill. When they are happy I'm happy. When they don't behave I wonder why I had them in the first place!

I am a mother of one, and seeing my little one full of joy and happy, it brings a smile to my face and makes me feel great, but then again it does work the other way around.

Yes to both. Her joy causes me joy, her pride causes me joy, her laughter causes me joy. Her sorrow causes me sorrow, her anger causes me sorrow, her physical pain causes me sorrow.

It's amazing how much emotion I can feel just as a reaction to her feelings. It's quite magical.
