I personally think it would destroy the fabric of our society and religion, so the government assumes there could be anarchy. With no religion how would we control the massive amounts of people doing imorral and illegal things? Maybe they figure "Why take the chance?"

Did you know the Bible speaks of ufo's, aliens?
Watch some of the clips on UFO's you see out on the web. They mention reptile type creatures, etc. Bible does as well....says they look like frogs.
The UFO people say that they see many coming in and out of the water. Bible says these aliens/frogs will come from the water.
Bible even states in the end days look to those that study the stars for wisdom.
Many newer Christians, like myself, are seeing the merge of UFO's and the Bible due to actual facts that cross lay each other. And I am not saying it is, its true, etc.....but you can read the Bible and see how it could be speaking of a higher race coming to earth and populating it with their own hybrid, man.
And it would explain items like chariots of fire in the sky, how a mountain can be destroyed, how a sea can be parted, etc.
I am still doing more research on it all, but I can see a relationship. And the Bible does state.....in the end days the truth about the religion will be reveiled. Could be saying something right there.
And I am not doubting Jesus at all....but "the world will see him coming upon a cloud from the sky". where do we see most UFO's? clouds?
Some I have listened to so far believe the UFO's we see now are the "angels" coming first to check things out for the day of the Lord.
Others find stuff relating UFO's to demonic as they do seem to appear and disappear easily. And the Bible mentions these as well. As if there might be more than 1 type of "alien" or higher being.
Then this would also go along with many UFO researchers for they state/claim there are more than 1 type of alien. And some are trying to help us while others are mean to us and those are the ones that do the abductions, and all abductions deal with reproduction.
well again the Bible states of the days before Noah and how the fallen angles came to earth and took up wives and had children that were called the Nephlim. Aliens coming down to earth to reproduce....sure sounds like the same story to me.
Now don't take this all wrong....I do believe in God, Jesus and all of it, but I am learning how to read into it all more and see the true message that its trying to tell us. And I am using all the other knowledge that I have from being a 28 yr atheist to help me.

So you're saying the only way to maintain control is to rule with fear? With the fear of eternal damnation?
Well, that is the goal. To cover up the alien evidence, therefore keeping a strong hold on the majority of Americans who abide by religious rules.
PS: I am an atheist but I'm not an anarchist. It can be done.

In contemporary conspiracy theory, the "covered up evidence of UFO's" is the most open secret possible. If the Government had evidence and revealed it, the biggest outcry woud be "I told you so".
I don't think they have such evidence.
That's not to say I don't believe that there are extraterrestrial beings, including those who may have been here.

your question assumes that if UFOs were proven to exist that that would eliminate the Idea that there is a God. When in fact the very first chapter in Ezekiel gives albiet a very cryptic description of a UFO. CHECK IT OUT. bye

Probably for much the same reason that they never mention the race of people who live in caves, deep within the earth, coming out only at night to steel valve caps from parked cars.

Because those flying saucers, can make it from SF to D.C. in 5 minutes flat... Thus destroying the fragile airplane system we have already... Think of it, what would all the flight attendants do then?
