OK, I was at a Sweet 16 last night. This question is about this girl that was there. This is not her name, but just for the purpose of the question, let's call her Jessica. This girl goes to school with me, but I thought we didn't know each other. I only talked to her once, and that was about 5 months ago when I had to b/c it was in religion class. So I get to the party, and when I see Jessica, who I barely knew, she yells out my name and says hi. Then she says she wants to dance with me later. I as surprised she knew me and wanted to dance. Later, she chased me down, grabbed my hand, and led me to the dance floor. We grinded for 2 songs, and she really got into it, grinding her a*s hard against me, holding my hands, and I was holding her hips. When we finished she gave me a hug. On my way out, I saw her again, and she gave me one of those quick kisses on the cheek and a hug. So, does this girl like me, or am I just blowing this way out of proportion?

I not dense, I just think its odd that a girl I have never talked to would act like we were best friends, you know. I don't know how girls think. I hope she likes me, but I can't help thinking that it was just a one night thing. I don't know. Unfortunately, I won't know until next Monday; I'm off from school this week and I don't have her number, since we barely knew each other.

It definitely sounds to me like she likes you...
I mean, all girls are different...we're some mysterious creatures! But, speakin' from my point of view, I'd definitely have to like a guy a whole whole lot to do all that..

I think youve got it right.... behavior like that can happen platonically... but not after a long period of knowing each other existed and having little to no contact.
Looks like you got yourself a lady friend ;)

I would say she was wayyyyyyyyyyyy drunk.. or yea, she likes ya. I'm not sure why she didn't show you the love before.. but i guess now she does. What does she do at skool with you? Do you even talk anymore?
