I will become an insurgent. I will lay roadside bombs to disable enemy armored vehicles. I will shoot down enemy helicopters too. I will use my sniping rifle to kill enemy soldiers. I will use arms and weapons supplied by Canada, Mexico, or any country who cares to support my fight to push the invaders out of my country.

You are all talking rubbish. A huge percentage of your country doesnt even dare leave so how can they have the guts to stand up to someone who is invading?
Besides that if you all took up arms and didnt have an organised militia the invading army ( not some terrorist scum, a proper army ) would just bomb your entire country to dust because they would be no need to protect the innocent.
Im not offending you and I would do the same if it were to happen to the UK but as we dont all carry guns and have stupid laws allowing us to ( there have been alot of shootings here recently, which would of been much worse had there been softer gun laws ) which means we would have an organised militia and a underground network with the sole purpose of disrupting the enemy invasion. We would use ambush tactics then disapear back into the shadows.

You mean like some paramilitary terrorist Wahhabi suicide bombers, motivated by jihad, calmly cross our shores, are trained by our finest avionics, spend THREE Presidential terms, and with methodical conceptualization, suceed in taking FOUR Commercial aircraft, and successfully pummel One, and Two World Trade Center New York, NY. Would i take up arms?
Well, i've been on this Mortal Coil, just starting my 4th decade and have yet to hold a weapon. So i would not be working with bullets.
However i would/did go into rescue and reclaimation mode, and diligently do my part to see that the villiage errr, community rebuilds.
And we do so with a greater sense of unity, security, and a clandestine mode of operation. So that EACH and every nation on the Globe realizes, that *if* they thought we were a nation of militant coverts, BEFORE .. They'll quickly find themselvs rethinking how THEY go about keeping their own secrets...
Yikes, this is a Nation full of people screaming that we need to get our presence out of the Middle East, and i'm thinking. Well, keeping ourselves all comfy safe within our shores, is ineffective.
The World is just too small..
I couldn't imagine it, as a Police State.
Don't get me wrong. I am completely pro private gun ownership. But i think we'd be in better shape if we go ahead and let Navy Seals, protect our backsides. =)

I wouldn't even have to think about it. I would take arms and kill as many invaders as I could. I would die for this country like so many others has before. they woke the sleeping giant before and they will do it again. history always repeats itself. for that matter. it's a sham to see what this country has become after what all of are for fathers fought for. but the sad thing about is we are being invaded by illegals but in a different way as not war. this country needs to open it's eyes up and see what this country really looks like in the eyes of Americans. not the eyes of our rules. we have lost every thing that this country stands for. so come on American people do what were good at fight to the very end.

Currently in my house I have four rifles, one of which is a high-powered 30-.06 with a 10x Leopold scope on it, and five handguns, one of which is a .357. I have enough ammunition for all to sustain combat operations for about a week. After that, the gun store is just down the road.
I am a retired Air Force Security Policeman and a veteran of Operation DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM. I believe in fighting for my country and for what's right.
You tell me.

America will never be invaded, at least not by an army. They have been invaded by illegal immigrants and George Bush is waving the surrender flag.

If my great grandpa fought in the Civil War, I'm definately gonna fight for this great country.... I just feel sorry for the idiotsthat try invading us..... they wouldnt last a week against us... we'll proably stop them at the beaches, if they get through there , we'll fight them in the deserts, and finally if they survive the butt whuppin, we'll take it to the fields... they wouldnt last.

Unlike a certain European country , I will not roll over and allow foreign goose steppers to take over this country. I spent over 20 years ready to give my all for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and I will until I cannot fight anymore.
