Cook the pork chops in the oven at 375 degrees for about 20-30 mins if the chops are about 11/2 inches thick.. u want an internal temperature of at least 170 before eating.. this will ensure of all bacterial growth is killed. if you want to give the the chops an extra flavor pan fry the chops to brown them before putting them into the oven... u can even throw in some chopped potatoes and everything will be done in the oven at the same time.

Don't go by time, go by temperature.

Pork chops do NOT need to be cooked well done. Trichinosis, (which modernly-farmed pork doesnt even have any more), dies at 137 degrees. Most chefs recommend cooking your pork to 140 degrees. It should be a little pink. Any more and you will dry out the meat and make it tougher.
