Need some advice... me and my girl of 8 years have had a great relationship up until about 3 weeks ago when I was suspecting she was cheating on me, when she needed some help from a guy to get on the police department. She said all it was, was him helping her and nothing else. Yet, she was hiding text messages, calls, and emails.
Well everything went back to normal and I am fine. But I brought it up tonight, I told her just to tell me. I guess we took a "break" about 2 weeks ago and thats when I was suspecting maybe she messed around with him. She swore up and down she didn't.
Tonight, I said jokingly, "if we broke up, after 9 years, and the next day I had sex with another woman, would you be mad?" She said, "no, I would have no right to be, we weren't together." Keep in mind the few day break we took about 2 weeks ago.
Anyway, I know it comes down to trust, but she's done this before.
What do you all think??

So you think I should be bound and gagged and never allowed on a computer...AND you thought I was gon let you get away with THAT comment. Its like this Adam...your girl obviously doesnt care if she is with you or not and instead of posing all of these "do I trust her questions" why not take it for what it looks like....your on your way out!! Because SHE is either gon get sick of you and your puppy dog questions, and obviously you dont trust her or she is going to confess that most likely Yeah she did mess around during your 2 week break.. Deal with it Adam....Now question for you .....would you keep her once she confesses or do you have the balls to kick her to the curb B4 she kicks YOU to the curb? Have a nice life and STOP crying! Oh yeah thanks for the 10 points for giving you the worst advice!!

Trust is an important part of any relationship. The fact that she had done this before and her present actions would lead anyone to be suspicious. It is up to you what to do with that. I would have serious second thoughts about continuing with her though.

i think she is cheating on you. ask her seriously one night in person NOT on text email phone or anything like that, ask her if you guys were to break up, how long would it take her to get over you..if she gives you a certian amount of days or months then she probably is tired of you and is cheating on you..if she says i dont know she is cheating on you if she says never keep her..make sure your looking straight in the eye when you ask her and if shes not looking you straight in the eye..she's lying....if she is cheating on you..she would tell you......and if she is...don't be so upset...sure be upset for a few weeks or months..but then don't give up on love...try again..theres other fish in the sea..better ones too...
