As you say Sam Adams i rekon we are talking Beer here and not Lager.
The great thing about the UK is that we still have a multitude of good beers to choose from whereas places like the USA it seems to be just lagers ( light beers) like Bud,Bud or Bud, plus the odd mexican tipple and a few others.
I like Sam Adams a lot, however having grown up in Norfolk I can also strongly reccomend Adnams and Abbott Ale.Other favourites include Fullers London Pride,Youngs Special, Marstons Pedigree and Theakstons.
I live in york now , the John Smiths is ok but his brothers,the Sam Smiths is Yuk but god its cheap £1.23 a pint Other beers I am not that fond of are Boddingtons,Tolly Cobbold,McEwans and anything not real Ale.

You can't beat a good pint of hand pulled real ale. There are lots to choose from but Tetley's, when on form is really nice.
Those choosing Bud and the other bottles have no idea about beer!

What the hell is wrong with you lot? Bud, Miller, Coors, Corona etc, are not beers, they are horses p!ss.
Drink something decent instead of that yellow water.....
My favourite commercial bottled beer is Youngs Special London Ale.

If I'm at home, I love a cold Stella Artois. When I'm out with friends, Kronenborg Blanc. Its expensive but really nice!
