There is someone I work with that I am attracted to. Problem is he is in a position above me so we can't do anything about it right now. One day he'll be looking me up and down, all smiles, touches, questions about boyfriends, weekend plans and then the next he'll act like it never even happened and it's back to being all professional. I never am at ease with walking in his office for personal conversations or even business ones because he usually says he's busy and then walks out! So I tell myself I don't care, don't want him and go about my business. But then he'll come around and step it up a notch by asking for my email or initiating contact outside work. But then he NEVER contacts me! Why? We have had some very heavy conversations filled with sexual innuendo but the next day it's like they never happened. He is always the one to initiate everything. I am at the point where I am wanting him and can't take this push, pull anymore. Will he EVER ask me out?

The way he is acting, i can't even tell. Maybe if you ask him why he's doing that. Although i don't recommend you do it. He'll come round oneday.

I must apologize for men in general.

This is a classic power trip delusional guy enjoying the flirting and jerking you about but has absolutley no intention of taking it to a relationship of any type at anytime.

It would be best if next time he asks you might start talking about a new young man in your life you just started dating so he will leave you alone.

No offense, but this sounds like a case of sexual harrassment. You might consider reporting it to his higher up's, if he has any. Or consider telling him to knock it off. A lot of sexual relationships in the office tend to lead down a bad path.

He is not getting the flirtting returned, there for he doesn't think that you like him in that way. Let him know how you feel, if it has to wait let him know that also. It's all good. But let him know. right now he is frustrated, because he isn't sure how you feel.

Jewels, honey did it ever occur to you that he might be married and that is why he isn't going through with any of his behavior? If he is married, then you leave him be cause that is wrong in the eyes of God.

There's something stopping him from pursuing his attraction, like a wife or girlfriend or company rules or common sense.

Tell him that you're flattered, but uncomfortable.
