I have reservation for 2 under (his name) . Usually they will not make you wait on him to be seated, or they would ask if you like to wait for the other person at the table.

Tell them your uncle made the reservation, his name is so-and-so, and ask if you can be seated or if there is any place else where you can wait? If you have a reservation you shouldn't have to stand around as if you were waiting for a second seating, but some restaurants prefer to have you wait at the bar or something rather than at the table.

Just tell the host/hostess/waiter that you are here for a reservation under "uncles name" they will take you to the table.

"I'm waiting for my uncle, John Doe, who has a table reserved for us".

Probability is that they won't seat you until the rest of the group has arrived. It would also be poor etiquette to ask to be seated before your host (your uncle) arrived.
