I was told if you actually swallowed the worm be prepared to have the worst hang over ever.

I forgot about that one.
I did in fact eat the worm. A friend brought back the tequila form Mexico and everyone was checking the tequila out...very strong, I seem to remember some talk of Mescal. If that makes any sense to anyone. Anyhow by all accounts at first I was quite Happy and even quite giggly, as a matter of fact a friend called me bubbles that night because I was so bubbly and he calls me that till this day. However, and I suspect I picked the fight with my boyfriend at the time............I left and ending up making my own way home. He was looking for meeverywhere and gave up and came home. He said he could hear me talking to someone when he came in the door. He found me talking to a poster of Marilyn Munroe trying to cox her into sitting down, I guess I thought she was standing there. The whole night was pretty much a black-out. Anyhow I woke up the next morning and WOO was I hung. My boyfriend was telling me everything and I was crying I was laughing so hard but I was also in excruciating pain every time I laughed from the headache I had. I am not prone to hangovers even when I have had tequila so I am inclined to believe the worm is TRULY evil!

The worm is nothing...it's just that if you've actually gotten to the bottom of the bottle, you've had WAY TOO MUCH Tequila! You will feel like crap, and it has nothing to do with the worm!

you drank mezcal not tequila by the way. tequila does not come with a worm in it. mezcal and tequila are both made from agave cactus, but only tequila is made from blue agave. The worm in the agave cactus is said to bring out the flavor of tequila. probably no different than eating chocolate covered roach.

The computer virus has grow to be more beneficial of A novelty . Mescal variety gold tequila has made it there trademark to placed a operating laptop or computer virus in there bottles Ive Evan seen the computer virus in mescal nips . I actually have eaten many.

Yes and I drank the worm. Was quite wasted....but interestingly wasn't as hung-over as I thought I might be (we drank an entire bottle between 4 people)........worm won't hurt ya, but might give you hallucinations..........which really come from the alcohol.

my bf always drinks the worm but i dont, its too gross. last time it was pretty big too.
