only kraut burger I know of is- ya make and cook your burgers however you like them and then simmer them in barbeque sauce, heat kraut in a seperate pot and when everything is hot build your burger, bottom bun, burger and sauce, then top with squeezed or drained kraut and top bun- sounds weird but we have been eating them for years. I am adding this to my watch list in case there is a different recipe to try *LOL*

i only have the one with hot roll mix/frozen bred roll dough

Kraut Burgers
1 lb. ground beef
2 medium onions, sliced
small head cabbage
salt and pepper
hot roll mix
cheddar cheese, shredded
sliced jalapeno

Cut up cabbage and onion. Cook 20 minutes; drain. Brown meat;
drain. Add cabbage and onion. Steam 10 minutes. Prepare hot roll
mix as directed on package. Rol out and cut in 6-inch circles.
Place a small amount of filling in circles. Spoon a small amount of
filling in circles. Spoon in small amount of cheese and hot pepper.
Fold over and seal. Place in oiled casserole. Bake at 350 until
brown.

Note:
Frozen bread roll dough may be substituted for hot roll mix.
