Hey geniuses, when are you going to find out that sodium is an excellent alternate fuel source?

all i keep hearing is solar, wind, hydrogen, and the bogus ethanol scam. We have the "Clear Water" filtration thing going on, why not separate the sodium and chlorine and apply the explosive sodium to pushing pistons. duhhhhh!!This is why the aliens coined the phrase "salt of the earth" because of its many uses!!

i'm not talking about using salt because it is corrosive, i'm talking about separating the sodium and chlorine and using the sodium, why don't you people read instead of jumping the gun??and with geniuses i'm referring to these engineers that are hung up on non-profit fuel sources, knowing full well that if someone doesn't benefit from a fuel, it will never be expanded on.Take the everlasting lightbulb or the non-flattening tires for example.You can actually charge money for the cost of extracting the elements, and it need refilling.

There is no profit from a free energy source, but since salt water is 70% of the earth's surface, it is in abundance. by "refining" it, its profittable, and it provides the energy release to power internal combustion engines, without the damage to the air we breathe.

response to the addendum, get chlorine out of the equation(we can sell that to Clorox), if you used a cell type chamber that was easily removed and replaced, and in place of a gas tank, you used a water tank, you eliminate the need for spark plugs and just have a drip system to promote the evenly distributed sodium explosions to force the pistons the same way the spark plug ignites the gas to explode.

I might understand the potential of using sodium and chlorine in fuel cells, but "explosive" sodium in "pushing pistons"? Duhhh???? Yes, it makes salt, and where is that salt going in piston engines? Anywhere it goes, it can't be very good. And pure sodium is devilishly difficult to handle, and of course, pure chlorine is just a gas they used in WW1 to kill people, but we can handle that.

Addendum to Asker's Addendum: What is not clear is just exactly how the "fuel mixture" of pure sodium and pure chlorine is to be delivered to the piston chambers, and just exactly how the SALT products are to be evacuated after explosion? At least with fuel cell technology, using fluidics to handle these mass transport problems is feasible. Why is it a technological advantage to use pure sodium and pure chlorine in piston engine, as compared to, say, pure hydrogen and pure oxygen, which produces easily evacuable and CLEAN water vapor?
